The Process of Reformulating in CAT
WARNING! This event has passed.
7th May 2010

CAT South are pleased to announce a one-day workshop on 'The Process of Reformulating in CAT' to be held in Romsey, Hampshire on Friday, 7th February 2010

with Lawrence Welch

Do CAT therapists write similar reformulations for the same patient and does the reformulation reflect the patient’s material adequately? How can the process of writing a reformulation best be described? In this day, Lawrence will start by summarising the key findings of his PhD research.

Lawrence is a founder member of ACAT and of the ACAT North training group; he has been a vice chair of ACAT and was a chair of its training committee till his Phd research made this no longer viable!  His PhD, accepted but with minor corrections, was supervised by Professor Glenys Parry at the University of Sheffield.

Lawrence is a Consultant Psychological Therapist (North Tyneside PCT), CAT Supervisor and Trainer
