We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and skilled individual to deliver cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) as part of the CNWL eating disorders service. While the majority of the work will be with outpatients, there will be some work with patients in transition across other elements of the service (day-patients and in-patients). The post holder will join a multi-disciplinary team providing a range of evidence based treatments, and the post is open to application from any professional (e.g., psychologist, CAT therapist, nurse, OT, etc).who meets the person specification. The post holder will carry out clinical duties, clinically-relevant audit and research (as appropriate), and relevant administrative duties. The successful applicant will have a high level of knowledge, skill and experience in delivering CAT with complex and difficult to treat clients. . Experience in eating disorders is desirable but not essential. He or she will be encouraged to develop his or her academic and clinical knowledge in the context of service-related continuing professional development. While the vast majority of the work will be within the CAT pathway, there may be opportunities to contribute to the delivery of other care pathways and treatments within the service if appropriate to the skills of the post holder.

Please note the post holder may be required to work across our two bases, South Kensington and Chelsea Mental Health Unit and Northwick Park Hospital

CNWL provides the eating disorder service for a local catchment area that includes the boroughs of Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, Brent, Harrow, Ealing, Hillingdon, and Hounslow. In addition the service accepts national referrals for specialist in-patient and day-patient care.
