I am a UKCP registered Cognitive Analytic Psychotherapist. I completed my CAT psychotherapy training in 2008 and my CAT supervisor training in 2009. I have recently left the NHS, where I worked in clinical health psychology, to develop my own private practice offering personal therapy, supervision and mentoring. In my clinical practice  I work with people presenting with a wide range of mental health difficulties including anxiety and depression, eating problems, difficulties arising from trauma, relationship difficulties, attachment issues, psychosomatic problems  and sexual difficulties. I have experience of working with both individuals and couples. I have both daytime and early evening appointments available.

Before becoming a psychotherapist I worked in educational psychology research and then in teaching before training as a sexual and relationship psychotherapist qualifying in 1992. Since then I have worked in mental health in various primary and secondary care settings developing a particular interest in the relationship between physical and mental health . For the last 9 years I have worked as a Consultant Psychotherapist working in  an NHS Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.
