I am a Clinical Psychologist professionally qualified since 2001, working in the NHS in the fields of adult mental health, physical disability/neurorehabilitation and forensics since 1995.  I completed ACAT North's Cognitive Analytic Therapy Practitioner training in 2007.  I established Embrace Psychological Services in July 2012 and left the NHS in March 2014 to work entirely within my private practice.  I offer individual assessments and therapy for adults with stress and anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, eating disorders, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, personality problems, and unresolved issues relating to childhood trauma including physical, sexual and emotional abuse.  I also specialise in working with people who experience chronic pain, chronic fatigue and other physical health problems.  I can offer both short term and long term therapy, and incorporate a range of psychological models to offer an integrative approach to client's difficulties. My services also include clinical supervision (registered supervisor on the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS), teaching and training therapy for CAT practitioner trainees.
