Finding a CAT Therapist

Although many CAT Therapists work within the NHS there also many who offer private CAT therapy to the public. These are listed below.

ACAT can confirm that all the therapists listed are accredited CAT Practitioners or Psychotherapists. All therapists listed are required to confirm the following information to qualify for listing on this page:

The therapist has confirmed that s/he:

• is qualified as a CAT Practitioner or Psychotherapist
• practises CAT according to ACAT's code of ethics and practice
• is fully insured for their private CAT practice
• is in appropriate supervision with a supervisor member of an accredited body. (In most cases the supervisor will be a CAT supervisor but this is no longer a requirement for inclusion in the private practice list.)
• is a full member of ACAT
