Cognitive Analytic Therapy Practitioner / Psychotherapist

IAPT Senior Psychological Therapist (Band 7)

Hampshire Primary Care Psychological Therapy Service - italk

Applications via the NHS jobs website.  Ref: 348-MNH-C-983A

We are looking to recruit Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) Practitioners or Psychotherapists to join our friendly IAPT service as Senior Psychological Therapists.

We have ‘online therapist’ positions suitable for remote working, for those applying within the UK but outside of Hampshire.  We will provide all ICT equipment necessary for home working.

Local candidates can work from a variety of community sites in Hampshire, with the opportunity for a hybrid model of working including both in person and remote working.

Flexible and part-time options available (3 day per week minimum).

italk is an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) NHS service in Hampshire, undergoing exciting and transformative expansion. Valuing CAT as an effective and compassionate approach for a wide range of clients, we want to increase its availability to the population of Hampshire, alongside our other evidence-based therapies.

As one of our Senior Psychological Therapists, you will be part of a dynamic team, receiving on-going support through regular clinical supervision and with access to frequent skills development opportunities.

We are committed to the progression of our team members and our posts are formulated to allow for the development of clinical expertise in chosen clinical areas. As well as providing CAT therapy to our service users, you will support junior colleagues to reflect on their practice and develop their skills through clinical supervision. You will also have the opportunity to assist with staff training and CPD events.

We welcome applications from CAT therapists who are also trained in additional evidence-based modalities such as CBT, IPT, EMDR, etc.
