CAT Therapist - Band 8a - 5 sessions per week - Oxfordshire and Bucks MH Foundation Trust

CAT Therapist – Band 8a, 5 sessions per week.

Psychological Services

Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust

Following the secondment of the current CAT therapist to the Learning and Development team for the purposes of running the Oxford CAT Practitioner Course, we are looking for a suitably qualified CAT therapist to replace the clinical CAT sessions.

You need to be qualified to at least CAT Practitioner level, and have extensive experience of working in a therapeutic role within the NHS and with patients with complex presentations. Accreditation as CAT Supervisor would be a distinct advantage. Some of the sessions may be based outside Oxford, so there is need for a flexible approach.

In return you will receive an opportunity to undertake stimulating therapeutic work within a developing service, where CAT is highly valued, and where you will receive close support and supervision.

The post is advertised on the NHS jobs website, under the reference 267-DW-SPEC-CAT-8a, where you will find information about the post and how to apply. Closing date is 16.2.2009 with interviews planned for 2.3.2009. This is a re-advertisement.

For further information, please contact Eva Burns-Lundgren, Consultant CAT Psychotherapist, Eva.Burns-Lundgren@obmh.nhs.uk or June Dent, Clinical Team Manger, June.Dent@obmh.nhs.uk or on Tel. 01865 223 968.
