Bridgend [Louise Rees Pye]

Hello,

Finding the therapist that 'feels right' is not an easy task. You have taken the first step in your healing journey  I can't 'fix' you, you are not broken. Together we can work alongside each other, you can talk to me in confidence in private informal surroundings. We will work through all your 'stuff', finding new ways to understand, and change things. You are the expert of your mind and body, I can help you see the wood from the trees, work out where things begun to feel wrong, and bring new ways of interacting with others to facilitate the changes you want

I have trained as a Rogerian counsellor, and worked as an assistant psychologist in the NHS for many years  then after training as a CAT practitioner I began offering CAT in private practice sessions   I work from private consulting rooms near Bridgend, which is just off J37 of the M4  My therapy work is informed by CAT, mindfulness, T/A and person centred counselling

You are welcome to book a one off appointment with me, before committing to a course of CAT . This way you can see if you feel comfortable working with me  I won't be offended if you think that we are not the right 'fit' Your sessions will be one hour long, at the same time and day every week, this way we both know how to plan our week.  CAT is not prescriptive, but does have a structure , you can choose what to talk about.

You can bring any mental health issues to therapy, without shame or fear.  I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, dissociation, abuse survivors, PTSD, eating issues etc. This is a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings

I hope you feel able to get in touch, to take the next step to the beautiful life you can create.

kindest regards,

Lou
