Who is this workshop for?
Dr Helen Buxton
Helen is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience. She worked in East Anglia for many years, both within the NHS and as a Senior Clinical Tutor on the Clinical Psychology Doctoral programme at UEA. Over the last 10 years she has specialised in working with adults with eating disorders and her most recent post was working in the Adult Eating Disorder Team at the Maudsley Hospital, London. Here, she was part of Ulrike Schmidt’s team who developed the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults. This treatment incorporates aspects of CAT within its approach.
The course will take place in the Collaborate training room at the University Staff Counselling Service, 2-3 Bene’t Place, Cambridge CB2 1EL. This is walking distance from the central Cambridge train station. Parking is available in the city’s Park and Ride and central car parks.
The course costs £100 incl. coffee, tea and biscuits. There is an administrative fee of £15 for third party, cheque or invoice bookings.
