Come and join us in day of taking stock of where we are with our CAT practice and our similarities and differences, our challenges and opportunities and our hopes and fears for the future. The day will be peer led but carefully structured with movement between plenary discussion and break out rooms. Each small group will select a note taker to speak to the plenary group. There will be a series of four break out room meetings during the day with the following sequence of topics
There will also be mini presentation of ten minutes on CAT topics of current interest.
10.00am - 10.15am Welcome and introductions
10.15am – 11.15am 1st break out room and plenary: 'how we do CAT in our setting - similarities and differences' Followed by mini presentation on ,Back to basics and the genius of Traps, Snags and Dilemmas'
11.15am -11.30am Morning break
11.30am – 12.15pm 2nd break out room topic: 'what we find for us as strengths and challenges in the model'. Followed by mini presentation 'How we discovered the idea of the reformulation letter'
12.15pm - 1.00pm Third break out room topic: 'the wider contributions of CAT and how it is seen and taken up or not by colleagues' followed by mini presentation ''The heart of CAT'
1pm - 2pm Lunch
2pm - 3pm AGM
3pm - 3.15pm Afternoon break
3.15pm - 4pm 4th Break out room: 'what we need from ACAT nationally or locally and what we can give or contribute to each other?'
4pm - 4.15pm – Closing thoughts
