Service Specialist Clinical Psychologist / Accredited Psychological Therapist (CAT / CBT)
An opportunity has arisen for a clinical psychologist or accredited psychological therapist with a clear commitment to working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems. The post holder will be part of the Southampton Psychological Therapies Service, and work with our community mental health teams.
We are committed to supporting recovery for people with severe and enduring mental health problems by delivering high quality, evidence-based interventions including CBT, CAT and family work. We are looking for someone who is able to work flexibly across teams, and who has well developed interpersonal skills. The post holder will carry their own caseload, provide clinical supervision and support the MDT to develop formulation driven interventions.
We have well-established clinical supervision structures and an excellent track record of CPD, as well as good links with the University of Southampton Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology and the PG training in CBT. The post holder will be professionally managed by the community lead psychologist and join an experienced team of psychologists, CBT specialists and psychotherapists.
