Band 7, full-time, Vincent Square Eating Disorders Service, London, SW10 9NG
This post involves delivering cognitive-analytic therapy (CAT) to patients of the CNWL eating disorders service. There is a strong CAT service line in the team, and we are looking for someone who can continue to contribute to and develop this within their role.
The majority of the work will be with outpatients, although there will be some work with patients in transition across other elements of the service (day-patients and in-patients). The post is part of a multi-disciplinary team, and is open to application from any professional who meets the person specification (e.g., psychologist, CAT therapist, nurse, etc).
The post holder will carry out clinical duties, clinically-relevant audit and research (as appropriate), and relevant administrative duties. The successful applicant will have knowledge, training, skill and experience in delivering CAT to patients with eating disorders and will be an accredited CAT practitioner or in the process of securing accreditation with ACAT. He or she will be encouraged to develop his or her academic and clinical knowledge in the context of service-related continuing professional development.
