The Somerset Partnership NHS and Social Care Service is seeking a full-time Cognitive Analytic Accredited Practitioner/Psychotherapist and Supervisor to join a vibrant and thriving Psychological Therapies Service (PTS) comprising Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Art Therapists as well as psychological therapy practitioners (CBT, CAT, FT and Psychodynamic Therapy), most of whom have been trained on our accredited in-house training courses.
The service is expanding and is characterised by innovation and commitment to good practice through supervision, support, and continuing professional development. The post is based within the PTS, but with close links to community mental health teams and in-patient services across the Trust.
The Somerset Partnership NHS and Social Care Trust has a reputation for innovation and best practice as well as for providing high quality services to its service users, carers and families. The Trust is committed to developing a first class Psychological Therapies Service that aims to meet the psychological needs of users of mental health services who have complex and severe mental health problems. The post has been established with new funds in order to increase the capacity of locally accessible high quality therapy.
The Trust is seeking a full-time ACAT Accredited Practitioner/Psychotherapist and Supervisor for an exciting new job, supervising CAT trainees and therapists, carrying a caseload, contributing to the running of the service, and to the delivery of our CAT/relationally-based PD Training and consultancy. The post is Band 7.
