ACAT's Annual Meeting of Trainers and Supervisors 2012

will be held from 5.30 pm Friday, 23rd March to 4 pm Saturday, 24th March, 2012 at the Hotel Russell, Russell Square, London WC1B 5BE

Please note: this event is open to all ACAT Trainers and Supervisors (including Trainee Supervisors)

Following the success of the  previous three Annual Meetings for ACAT Supervisors and Trainers, we are again repeating this event in the same sharing and open spirit as previously.  The aim of each of the Annual Meetings has been to provide an opportunity for a connective and fruitful dialogue to create a forum for monitoring and developing the key role of Supervisors and Trainers in developing CAT practice in all its variety.

It is hoped that new and trainee supervisors will feel able to attend and with this in mind we are eager to hear which areas are of keen interest to all.  The event hopes to provide an excellent opportunity to share useful ideas and practices and to engage in constructive debate.

The draft programme is as follows:

24th March: Saturday:-

09:30 - 10:15  Self introductions - personal objectives for day
10:15 - 11:15  The theatre of CAT Supervision || Vicky Petratou

11:30 - 12:30  Research presentations on SDR || Jurai Darongkamas

12:30 - 13:15  Lunch (Camden Suite)

13:15 - 14:00  Research and discussion on the Goodbye letter || Clare Tanner
14:00 - 14.45  Mindfulness in CAT Supervision || Liz McCormick

15:00 - 16.00  Group Discussion of day - planning for the next one

Once again, costs will be kept to an absolute minimum and again, we have booked a centrally located venue in London.  We are at a new venue this year, The Hotel Russell in Bloomsbury, nearest tube Russell Square.

Accommodation: if you wish to take overnight accommodation this needs to be booked independently by delegates direct with Hotel Russell.
Rates at Hotel Russell are:
Single occupancy: £125 per room, bed and breakfast plus VAT
Double occupancy: £145 per room, bed and breakfast plus VAT

Cancellation and Refund Policy: 
A refund, less a £25 admin fee, will be made if cancellations are received, in writing, at least four weeks before the event. We regret that any cancellation after this time cannot be refunded and refunds for failure to attend the event cannot be made.
