CAT is used in many Eating Disorders Services throughout the UK and practitioners have found it to be very useful.  CAT can help patients to understand the meaning of their eating disorder and help practitioners to hold a therapeutic alliance with patients who are often very ambivalent about change.

We will be presenting the CAT model of Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa and providing participants with the CAT tools that can help in their work with this patient group in in-patient and out-patient settings.  We will be offering theoretical presentations, group discussion and experiential work to facilitate learning.

Training Team:
Claire Tanner, Lead CAT Therapist Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service, CAT trainer, Supervisor and Therapist
Kumari Abeydeera, CAT Therapist Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service
