Embodiment, therapeutic space and reducing therapist fatigue
This workshop is an exploration of how we may begin creatively to use engagement with our own embodiment as therapists to free up stuck or overwhelming process with challenging clients. As well as supporting a healing therapeutic process this approach may also help us to recognise how we take on and consequently how we may lighten some of the burdens we carry for our clients in and through our bodies.

This workshop will
The workshop is mainly experiential, focused on individual exercises and the number of participants will be limited to a maximum of eighteen. Some theoretical understandings will be woven in to the process. Please see workshop notes and a paper in Reformulation (Summer 2017) for more detail about this approach and the facilitator.
ACAT plans to host a series of workshops facilitated by Tim aimed at supporting therapists establish a more embodied approach in their clinical work. Attendance at this introductory workshop (or a previous one with Tim) is a prerequisite for participating in the series.
