A half-day online workshop exploring the process of writing about Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). A chance to think about the reciprocal roles that are triggered when we sit down to write, to meet others who also want to develop their skills and to share some early ideas and tentative writing.
After this workshop you will:
Who is the workshop for?
CAT therapists and trainees who are interested in improving their ability to write and those who would like to promote ideas from CAT to the outside world through their writing.
Facilitated by:
Elizabeth McCormick is a founder member of ACAT and worked as a psychotherapist in the NHS and private sector for over forty years, also supervisor and trainer within ACAT. Now retired I am concentrating on writing and am the author of a number of psychological self-help books including Change For The Better.

Alison Jenaway is a CAT practitioner and supervisor, and previous Chair of ACAT. Currently on the IRRAPT CAT training so back to writing essays and case reports. In the past has written academic papers for peer review publications, articles in Reformulation and blog posts for the public engagement website and her own blog (parentingthemiddleway.wordpress.com)
Delegate fee: £25 (for online bookings) which will be donated to the Tony Ryle Bursary Fund to promote diversity in CAT trainings.
