Drawing on years of experience of practice and training in the integration of movement-based approaches into CAT, this two day residential offers a follow-up immersive, experiential course to deepen an embodied awareness of self and other in relationship. This approach integrates theory and methodologies from both Gestalt and CAT. It will build on previous introductory weekends and one-day training events. If you have not previously attended training with Caroline an online seminar prior to the weekend will introduce the core model.
The intention of this weekend is to develop deeper awareness of the movement patterns as a key element of our relationality and to practice the methods of applying these insights within the therapeutic process. A follow-up session via Zoom a month later will help to embed the ideas and the experiences of the weekend into clinical practice and self-supervision or supervisory practice.
