One Birdcage Walk, Westminster, London SW1H 9JJ
We hereby give notice that the Annual General Meeting will be held during the ACAT Conference at 3 pm on Friday, 13th September 2019, at One Birdcage Walk, Westminster, London SW1H 9JJ.
It is required by our Memorandum and Articles of Association that at each AGM at least one third of Trustees stands down (with the opportunity to stand for re-election if so wished). Marilyn Ramsden (Lay Trustee) stood down on 15th February 2019.
ACAT currently has nine Trustees, two of whom will be standing down at the 2019 AGM as follows:
Nominations for election to the Board of Trustees with and without office are invited from voting members of ACAT (ie fully paid up Practitioners, Psychotherapists, and Life Members).
ACAT welcomes nominations of lay people as well as full members of ACAT. There are up to two places on the Board open to lay people. The maximum number of Trustees on the Board at any one time is twelve.
The list of those nominated and therefore standing for election are detailed in the AGM booklet of papers, a copy of which is available for download at the end of this page. The booklet also contains the agenda, annual reports, and annual accounts.
25th National ACAT Conference 2019
As mentioned, the AGM is being held during the annual conference. We would be very pleased to see you at both events but you are, of course, welcome to attend just the AGM (no charge) if you wish.
