Drawing on years of experience of practice and training in the integration of movement-based approaches into CAT, this two day residential offers an immersive, experiential course to deepen an embodied awareness of self and other in relationship. This approach integrates theory and methodologies from both Gestalt and CAT, and is open to any psychological therapy practitioners with good working knowledge of CAT. Key ideas will be introduced in readings prior to the weekend, with a follow-up session via Zoom a month later to embed the ideas and the experiences of the weekend into clinical practice and self-supervision or supervisory practice.
