Web-site restrictions

ACAT is moving to a new website shortly. Due to unforeseen technical issues, the launch has been postponed briefly until Tuesday, 6th May.

In preparation, this website no longer lets members renew their membership. ACAT Administration are likewise unable to process membership renewals until the new site opens.

Please do not update any personal details on your member/friend profile, as changes at this point will not be transferred to the new site.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to welcoming you to a new website after the Early May bank holiday.

Embodiment of Reciprocal Roles – offered by Caroline Dower
19th April 2024 to 21st April 2024

WARNING! This event has passed.

Venue: Shepherds Dene, Riding Mill, Northumberland, NE44 6AF.  Close to Newcastle stations and airport

4.00 pm Friday 19th April to 3.00 pm Sunday 21st April 2024
Cost: £360, inclusive of full board for two nights

Drawing on years of experience of practice and training in the integration of movement-based approaches into CAT, this two day residential offers a follow-up immersive, experiential course to deepen an embodied awareness of self and other in relationship.  This approach integrates theory and methodologies from both Gestalt and CAT.  It will build on previous introductory weekends and one-day training events.  If you have not previously attended training with Caroline an online seminar prior to the weekend will introduce the core model.

The intention of this weekend is to develop deeper awareness of the movement patterns as a key element of our relationality and to practice the methods of applying these insights within the therapeutic process.  A follow-up session via Zoom a month later will help to embed the ideas and the experiences of the weekend into clinical practice and self-supervision or supervisory practice.  For further information or to register for a place, email Caroline Greenwood Dower at caro@carolinegreenwooddower.com
