ACAT is moving to a new website shortly. Due to unforeseen technical issues, the launch has been postponed briefly until Tuesday, 6th May.
In preparation, this website no longer lets members renew their membership. ACAT Administration are likewise unable to process membership renewals until the new site opens.
Please do not update any personal details on your member/friend profile, as changes at this point will not be transferred to the new site.
Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to welcoming you to a new website after the Early May bank holiday.
Our next sofa meeting will be with Lawrence Welch
Saturday February 8th, 2025
11.30am - 1.00 pm
Lawrence will be leading a discussion on Reciprocal Roles in the NHS.
Lawrence is a founder member of ACAT. He worked in the NHS for 18 years and has trained and supervised many CAT therapists. He is passionate about challenging injustice and demonstrating how this is embodied in organisations.
In this discussion, we shall look at the complexity of reciprocal roles and how they provide an understanding of the current top-down nature of the NHS. We will consider our personal feelings about what is going on and think about how to connect with our colleagues despite the differences we inevitably have.
Booking is now open. To join, email me barbara.williams.1@outlook.com
