Web-site restrictions

ACAT is moving to a new website shortly. Due to unforeseen technical issues, the launch has been postponed briefly until Tuesday, 6th May.

In preparation, this website no longer lets members renew their membership. ACAT Administration are likewise unable to process membership renewals until the new site opens.

Please do not update any personal details on your member/friend profile, as changes at this point will not be transferred to the new site.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to welcoming you to a new website after the Early May bank holiday.

Richmond [Stephen Taylor]

I currently work as a full time Psychotherapist in private practice. I have worked in mental health as a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist in psychological medicine and Psychotherapist for 30 years. I am a honoury lecturer in Mental Health nursing at the University of West London. As part of my PhD studies I am researching how a psychotherapy based supervision group can help newly qualified nurses develop greater levels of empathy, compassion and attachment. I believe that training as a CAT therapist has helped my own practice in these areas. I have worked full time as a therapist for the British Army, Tavistock and Portman NHS trust using CAT and also EMDR for trauma. I have recently won a national award from the Depression Alliance for my psychotherapy work.

I currently see patients at my  home in Richmond most days, evenings and some weekends. Visits to patients homes will be considered if required. My current rates are £80 per session.
