If you are struggling with loneliness, anxiety and depression or grappling to balance your own needs with those of others, in relationships, work or family, I can support you to regulate your emotions and manage your behaviours. If you are lacking in confidence and self-worth, and bewildered by life's twists and turns, I can work with you to build self-awareness and respect.

I have experience of redundancy and career change, separation and divorce, bereavement and suicide, dependency and personality disorders, pregnancy and menopause. I offer therapy to adults of all ages, from 19-90, and support for every life stage. Together we explore how developmental patterns learned in childhoold have shaped the way you are in relationship to self and others today, and how you might change them for the better.

My specialist training is in cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) and art therapy (IATE). I am also a postgraduate of Regents University, London, in Integrated Psychotherapy and Counselling, and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

With a multi-cultural outlook, and over 25 years in corporate and public sector working envionments before taking up psychotherapy, I can relate tothe stresses and strains of modern City living and the demands it makes on time, relationships and family. I do hope you will feel able to get in touch with me to talk, in confidence, about what is troubling you.

I provide time-limited therapy (12,16 or 24 weeks) and open-ended longer-term therapy, according to your needs, with weekly sessions of 50 minutes. While the pandemic is still with us I prefer to work face to face on-line by Zoom or FaceTime. My fees are means-tested with a sliding scale from £140 to £40 according to your ability to pay.

Please contact me at janet@jha-therapy.com to make a first appointment.
