I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology. I have worked in the NHS for 10 years and have recently moved into the private sector. I also hold full psychology qualifications in Australia, where I initially lived and trained.

In addition to my core profession qualifications and Chartered registration with the British Psychological Society and Health and Care Professions Council, I am a CAT practioner therapist.

I have worked primarily in adult mental health, working with those who have depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, relationship problems and a history of trauma and abuse. I have a particular interest in working with people who find themselves facing unhelpful reoccurring patterns and difficulties in their relationships, alongside a formal mental health diagnosis. Through clinical training, I have experience of helping people across the whole life span.

During my NHS work, I was responsible for providing consultations to and supervision for more junior psychologists and other professionals.

I take a very person-centred approach to treatment and care, firmly believing and practicing that each person I work with is an individual, coming with his or her own journey and difficulty. I find CAT to be a particularly good fit with this person-centred philosophy. I am very committed to working with people to make real, meaningful and sustainable changes.
