Web-site restrictions

ACAT is moving to a new website shortly. Due to unforeseen technical issues, the launch has been postponed briefly until Tuesday, 6th May.

In preparation, this website no longer lets members renew their membership. ACAT Administration are likewise unable to process membership renewals until the new site opens.

Please do not update any personal details on your member/friend profile, as changes at this point will not be transferred to the new site.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to welcoming you to a new website after the Early May bank holiday.

Central London [Kuda Kali]

I am an ACAT accredited Cognitive Analytic Therapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse. I have experience of working with people with a range of difficulties and mental health problems such as: depression and anxiety. I have extensive experience of working with individuals with eating disorders across a spectrum of diagnoses and severity, alongside a wide range of psychological difficulties, emotional issues and problems relating with self & others.  My background in Nursing also supports me to work effectively with individuals with physical health problems (such as Diabetes) alongside their psychological, mental health and wellbeing. I offer a collaborative way of understanding patterns of relating and helping the individual to connect and make sense of their world.

~~Being of black-african descent enables me to have an in-depth understanding and experience about cultural or country of origin issues which may be helpful contexts to be worked through. I offer time- limited or longer term therapy

I am also able to offer teaching, consultation and reflective practice support to Nursing teams( and other disciplines) about managing eating disorders as well as using CAT as a model for understanding problematic team dynamics, to improve team performance and functioning.

I am located for sessions around Oxford Circus,  Bond Street area, and to alternative venues to work with teams.
