Starting therapy can feel like a step into the unknown. Often anxiety, depression or relationship difficulties are part of the picture and there may additionally be experiences of trauma, stress, bereavement, loss, low self-esteem, work issues, sexuality, identity, life stage issues amongst other concerns. Problems may feel life long, or more recent, or both. The spirit of CAT therapy is supportive of a process of curiosity and enquiry within a therapeutic, compassionate relationship which is what I aim to provide in short-term or longer term therapy.
