Web-site restrictions

ACAT is moving to a new website shortly. Due to unforeseen technical issues, the launch has been postponed briefly until Tuesday, 6th May.

In preparation, this website no longer lets members renew their membership. ACAT Administration are likewise unable to process membership renewals until the new site opens.

Please do not update any personal details on your member/friend profile, as changes at this point will not be transferred to the new site.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to welcoming you to a new website after the Early May bank holiday.

Online UK and Cheshire (near Crewe) [Charlotte Morris]

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist within an NHS Community Mental Health Service. I am also an accredited CAT Practitioner and supervisor. I have over 20 years’ experience working in the NHS and in private settings. In addition to being a member of ACAT (Association for cognitive Analytic Therapy) as an accredited therapist and supervisor, I am also registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

CAT is my core model when providing therapy, but I am also trained in a range of other approaches including EMDR, CFT, MBT, Mindfulness and DBT/SCM skills which can be integrated when helpful. I have a particular interest in trauma and working with those who experience relationship difficulties, as well as other problems such as anxiety, stress, anger, PTSD including childhood trauma, personality difficulties, self-harm, low self-worth and mood changes.

I am based in South Cheshire and usually offer sessions remotely. However, for those who prefer face to face work, I have use of a therapy space in Alsager, near Crewe, Cheshire.

I can offer therapy on a shorter- or longer-term basis and for those looking for therapy as part of a training program, such as CAT practitioner training or other therapy training courses.

I have availability on Fridays. If you’d like more details or to arrange an initial session to help you decide on your next steps, then please get in touch.
