Stockport and Manchester [Karen Morgan]

I am an experienced CAT therapist and BACP Accredited counsellor working in a university setting and private practice with adults experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, family and relationship issues.

I qualified as an ACAT Accredited CAT Practitioner in 2006 and have provided training therapy and CAT Personal Reformulation sessions for clinical psychology trainees, psychologists in forensic settings who are undertaking CAT skills training, and other NHS mental health professionals since 2009. I also offered CAT therapy in an NHS Psychotherapy Service for 9 years. 

I am passionate about CAT as it is an effective and versatile approach to understanding and working on difficulties in a collaborative way. I offer short or longer-term therapy as well as CAT Personal Reformulation sessions and training therapies.

I enjoy working with clients to develop a joint understanding of the issues that have brought them to therapy and to explore alternative constructive ways of relating to themselves and others.

I am able to offer evening and weekend appointments.
